How to Download Workbook from Tableau Public

If you've created a viz, you can easily download it as a workbook from Tableau Public. This option is available only if you've published a viz that contains at least one field. To get started, follow these steps:

1. Open your workbook in Tableau Desktop and select Server > Tableau Public > Save to Tableau Public.

2. In the Tableau Public window, enter a name for your workbook and click Save.

3. After publishing, you'll be redirected to your account on the Tableau Public website.

From there, you can download your workbook in several ways:

* Tabcmd: You can use Tabcmd to download your workbook as a CSV file and then load it into a pandas data frame using Python's subprocess module.

Alternatively, you can customize your profile page on Tableau Public by adding a unique title that will help others find your workbook when they search. You can also use the 'Edit Details' option to change other settings such as the workbook name and description.

If you want to share your viz with others, you can hover over it and select View to open its home page. From there, you can access various actions such as selecting it as a featured viz, hiding, downloading, or deleting it.

Tableau Public is a free cloud service that allows anyone to interact with your views, download your workbooks or data sources, and discover new insights from your data. By publishing your workbook to Tableau Public, you can share your data discoveries with the world outside of your organization.
